About Us

The Port Broughton and District Genealogy Society was formed in 2007 with the aim of providing resources for the community of Port Broughton and the surrounding area to undertake family history research without having to travel out of the area to do so.

It is a place where members can come together in their quest to research family history and support each other, as well as others looking to research past family within our district.

We have a variety of different resources available, including books, folders, CD's, microfiche and computer resources, with information relating to the local area, South Australia, Australia and overseas.

We are based in the Old Council Chambers,

Harvey Street, Port Broughton.
